Blue's Clues is a Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. videogame franchise based on the educational children's television series of the same name, it's an American live-action/animated educational children's television series that premiered on Nickelodeon on Sunday, September 8, 1996.[1] Producers Angela Santomero, Todd Kessler, and Traci Paige Johnson combined concepts from child development and early-childhood education with innovative animation and production techniques that helped their viewers learn. It was hosted originally by Steve Burns, who left in 2002 and was replaced by Donovan Patton for the rest of the series. The show follows an animated blue-spotted dog named Blue as she leaves a trail of clues/paw prints for the host and the viewers to figure out Blue's plans for the day. Blue's Clues became the highest-rated show for preschoolers on American commercial television and was critical to Nickelodeon's growth. It has been called "one of the most successful, critically acclaimed, and ground-breaking preschool television series of all time."[1] A spin-off called Blue's Room premiered in 2004.


Series GameplayEdit

The gameplay of the Blue's Clues videogames mostly shares many similarities with the television series counterpart. In Blue's 123 Time Activities, IT has an educational point-and-click adventure ideas that teaches players maths through fun activities, as they help Blue and his friends accomplish goals and tasks.[1] Kids learn skills such as measurement, estimation, weight, pattern, and counting. In Blue's Reading Time Activities, The gameplay "teaches the basics of art" and allows players to create their own Really Big Art Show, while helping Blue and other characters create artworks with offering with "curriculum-structured learning".
